have spent an enjoyable summer and fall at the Pender Island farmers'
markets, fall fair and Christmas market. I am now busy painting portraits
for Christmas delivery across Canada. Although I cannot accept any
more commissions for December 2008 delivery, gift certificates for
portraits are always available!
In the Spring of 2008 I donated portrait commissions to the silent-auction fundraisers for the MEOW Foundation, Cancervive, and the Missing Children Society of Canada. I donated this 11x14 portrait of the baby gorliia Yewande to the silent auction at the Calgary Zoo's major fundraiser, Zoogala, held in September, 2008.
Nice to meet everyone at these events in the fall of 2007.

Cochane & Area Humane Society's 2nd Annual Saving Lives fundraising
Art Sale, 3rd November, 2007. 25% of all proceeds
went directly to the humane society. Christmas at Millarville Market, 9-11 November, 2007. The 2007 Calgary Zoo fundraiser, ZooGala, was held on Saturday 8th September. I painted and donated these original watercolours for the very successful silent auction. They are Kita the female tiger and her cub Vitali.
I had an enjoyable and sussessful summer in 2007 at both the Millarville and Bearspaw Farmers' Markets in Alberta, Canada. I am now offering pencil drawings of your pets and animals. Please see the gallery for examples. As with the watercolours they can be delivered matted and framed. Congratulations to the highest bidders in the recent silent auction in support of Hull Child and Family Services, (presented by Hamilton Hall Soles), and the "Vehicles & Violins" fundraiser for The missing Children Society of Canada (hosted by the Motor Vehicle Dealers Association of Alberta). I will be painting an original watercolour portrait for each of the two winners. The two events raised over $200,000 for their respective charities. I will be at the Calgary Farmers' Market again soon, see you there! The Winter Dog Show was in Calgary, 2nd, 3rd and 4th February, 2007. Thank you for the commissions of your beautiful champion dogs! New portraits in the GALLERY with larger images. A big thank you to all who visited the art show for benefit of the Cochrane Humane Society (on 4th November, 2006). And thank you for the commissions for pet portraits. ZooGala, a fundraiser for the Calgary Zoo, was held on 9th September 2006. For the silent auction I donated this painting of Kamala, the famous "painting elephant" who lives at the Zoo. The successful (and generous) bidder was very delighted to be able to take it home with her!

Nice to meet you all at the Calgary Humane Society's successful "Dog Jog And More" on Sunday 5 June, 2005! 20 May, 2005, portraits of Bella, Toffee and Rose now in the gallery. 7 February, 2005, the Alberta Kennel Club dog show was a great success, thank you to all who commissioned paintings. 11 January, 2005, new portraits added to the gallery. New portraits added to the gallery on 1st January, 2005. The MEOW Foundation's 2nd Annual Fundraising Gala was held at the Metropolitan Centre in Calgary on 10th November, 2004. The successful bidder in the silent auction (for a pet portrait by Geoffrey Martin) has now received the personal framed watercolour painting of their pet.

Visitors at my booth display at The TICA 25th Anniversary International Cat Show, which was held in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on 4th and 5th September, 2004. The Alberta Kennel Club's All-Breed Championship Dog Show was held in Calgary from 30 July - 2 August, 2004. Thank you to all who visited me at the Doggiewood booth and commissioned portraits.
